Haha my ETA was One year, 236 days when it first started downloading... No thank you, I've waited long enough.

Its really too bad I just played 30 years of a new Romani campaign, but right now I'm just too excited to care!

Now to spend the rest of the day deciding which faction to play as...

Thanks for renewing my love affair for EB (like it was ever gone)

My suggestion is to play on, finish the Romani campaign then install 1.1
and play another faction

Seriously guys, I don't get this complaining about timing. Noone is forcing you to abandon your 1.0 campaign. Just make a new copy of RTW 1.5 and install EB 1.1 into that, and you have separate installations of both versions.

The Casse invasion is a scripted invasion of Belgium when the AI is Casse and has taken all of Britain and Ireland. We hope it will make the AI Casse more interesting in spite of the AI's aversion to naval invasions.

I can´t believe this! Ever minute since 7 minutes after you put this on I´ve been trying to download but the page just won´t show, I´m guessing because of the bandwidth, but still, 3 hours of constant attempts should have gotten me somewhere, especially as it can´t have been that many people trying to download it before me.

Your annoying attitude, bad grammar, illogical arguments, false beliefs and pathetic attempts at humour have driven me and many other nice people from this forum. You should feel ashamed. Report here at once to recieve your punishment. Scumbag.

Are the Lusotana and Getai more aggressive now? The Lusotana would typically take two nearby cities and then remain idle, the Getai would remain idle indefinitely(or atleast until 240bc). Casse only attacked the British rebels once in my Lusotana campaign. Also, the rebels aren't nearly as aggressive as some people say they are, they will not siege towns that are 1 cell away.

I'm using BI.exe(1.0 with all fixes)

It's recommended that you do get rid of 1.0 and install 1.1 on a clean install.

Lusos should get off easier due to this change:
* Reduced the frequency at which Moskon's army appears in the Celtiberian alliance script, and set his age to 60 years.

Try to use another browser. And make sure you've installed a bittorrent client or ed2k client, respectively.

The Getai are one of the largest factions in my game. I think it's hard to instigate the factions to aggression. Sometimes the AI just sucks.

And I'm interested in hearing exactly what the Casse invasion is. It sounds good, because the Casse are chilling on a united British Isles with 3 and a half full stacks but can't get across to wreck the Sweboz.

Appears as if a "sick day" will be of the order tomorrow. I guess paullus wasn't bluffing when he said...and I'll paraphrase.."When there is a layer of pollen on my vehicle, that usually means one of 2 things. Either an EB release is imminent or my local government has to ease up on the water restrictions."
Well there's only one thing to say to that......

that varies from campaign to campaign, in my current, (or i guess now my ex ) campaign as the pahlava by 260 getai has taken 3 cities, yes thats right, 3 cities by 260, and in another one luso has has all of iberia and are kicking averni butt in gaul by 220...so im not sure if it has anything to do with the AI, it´s has more to do with chance then anything, i guess... though i could very well be wrong. the nomads are the only ones who never seems to have a fighting chance in my campaign, but it looks like that will change!
my only worry is, should i start a new pahlava campaign or try that karthadastim campaign i had sworn off ´till 1.1? hmmm

anyway, thanks for this EB team!
EDIT to slow...need to speed up my typing.

They never make it that far in my campaign, they usually just take the two closest cities and remain idle for the rest of the campaign.

I've never seen them take any cities, they just remain at their capital, I think it's due to the fact that they are at peace with rebels, as is Casse.

Do you two use Rome.exe or BI.exe?

dont pay so much attention to those. i for instance was waiting for 1.1 since November (thought it'd come on Christmas and quit playing, uninstalling 1.0 all together) with clean RTW copy sitting on HD. and now its finally here!
thanks

I´m using BI right now, and have used 1.5, never noticed any difference with expansion, that i can be sure of is because of the .exe, except some naval invasions with BI.

Well they are the Luso they can't be expected to take over spain in every game, but given a few decades they can do some awsome stuff. Check out the AI Expansion thread. I had one game with EB 1.0 RTW.exe where they took over all of Iberia, half of splain, and was in the process of pushing Rome out of the alps and containing it to italy. But as cool as it was I wouldn't want that in my game everytime that would just be to strange.

4.4% downloaded! So forgive my lack of knowledge in ancient language but where I can expect some of these new units to be showing up? (I mean besides the obvious Rhode Slingers and Caledonian Nobles)

Do you know how long it takes me to install it in the first place? I think i'll do without the Saka intro movie and a few bugfixes thank you.

I don't think any of us thought 1.0 would be so stable really - if it had not been we would have had a 1.01 or something a lot sooner, but we thought it could wait given the overall stability of the 1.0 release.

This v1.1 is a bit bigger than v1.0; as an understatement.

A lot of new music for Roman faction campaigns and for Eastern/Nomadic/EastGreek campaigns too probably makes up for the biggest single chunk of that space I think.
