Keep the current one, finish the game, then start a new one with Pahlavan. This is where you will HEAR a lot of new things!

This is a question concerning one of the new updates. What are the new conditions required for the celtic reforms? A scripted year or number of settlements required? I am planning on starting an Aedui campaign and I kinda need to know. Knowledge IS power (having Gaesatae makes everything easier too)

I'm using uTorrent, have some seeders, yet I still have hours to go.

It has not gotten higher than 131 kb/s (really, how are you getting more than 600?), and nothing I do makes it go faster.

And when it is downloading, I'm basically unable to do anything else, as it kills the performance unless I pause it. Does anyone have any advise at all? Or should I wait for the much faster filefront option?

JUST six hours? Mine says three days.

Luckily, as I said in an earlier post, i'm in no hurry. If it downloaded in three minutes, I couldn't play anyway.

(I swear, giving up games for lent seemed like a good idea at the time. I wasn't expecting 1.1 until May, at earliest)

We're both from Wisconsin so it probably is the same problem.

So that its subjects will view it with admiration, as a chicken which has the daring and courage to boldly cross the road,

Any chance you guys will set up a file front download? If you're planning on it, I'll be content just to wait it out with 1.0 until you set it up. It's just much easier for me.
By the way, great job with all your hard work! It really has paid off and made RTW a much more enjoyable game- EB is so different from vanilla, though, it's hard not to call it a completely new game!

Yes, there is definitely a good chance we will; I reckon. We simply released it through the torrent & ed2k before we'd release it as simple FTP download for the reasons of preserving bandwith - as well as getting a nice, seeding, swarm which should make downloading go much faster...

the only isp that actively limits torrent in the usa that I know of is comcast in the southern states. dunno if there are companies that does the same in the north-central ones.

If I have the previous version of EB installed on my XP, what do I do? Can I just go to "remove software" and uninstall EB, or do I need to uninstall the whole RTW and re-install it again?

    Thanks for EB, BTW!!

I'm pretty sure you just need to uninstall EB, then go into the RTW directory and delete the "EB" folder that's in there, then just reinstall EB.

There will be mirrors, but ED2K and Torrent require very little work to set up and are available instantly, so get up earlier. Consider it a head start for those who use sharing technology. I see that several people get 100-300 kB/second already on the torrent.

Just a quick question; will we still need to apply the bug fix patches that were needed for 1.0, or have these been included into 1.1? I didn't see them in the list of bug fixes.. or did I ?

Oh and thank you for 1.1 EB TEAM!!!!

No, sorry, at the time I was ready to do it it was too late to add something so new and get it properly tested. I might possibly make it as an unofficial mod.

All 1.0 fixes are included in 1.1. It's logical and why would we have you redownload fixes we made.

Ok, I finally got it downloaded (it got faster after awhile), and I have a question.

I'm downloading it to the same place I put 1.0 (yes, I got rid of 1.0 first), which is in program files. Only it is recommended that I don't put it in program files.

    Should I do it anyway?
