My Pontos VH/M campaign (ALEX 1.2 with LZ3's minimod pack), 248 BC:
Seleukids were getting really dangerous near the start. They eventually took Alexandreia (still have it) and Chighu (lost it after about two turns). They also destroyed Pahlava... in 267 BC. Luckily for me, after smashing their full stack that attacked me when I had northern and western Anatolia under control in a bridge battle, I was able to expand quickly into their homelands, where they had only a unit or two garrisoned in each city. I had initially planned just to sack Antiocheia (where I destroyed all the building and gifted it to the Ptolemies), but it quickly became apparent that I could afford to hold their cities while the tattered AS armies streamed back one at a time from central Asia. I'm hoping they'll actually accept a ceasefire after I take the rest of their holdings up to the Caspian, so that I can consolidate power and build up infrastructure for a while before destroying Egypt.
AI is better than with RTW.exe, but still stupid at times, notably the KH stack which has sat on Krete since the game's start without moving.
