    Epeiros, VH/M, 232 BC, ALEX.exe

Epeiros: After taking Hellas and developing my infrastructure for a while, I built two massive fullstacks to invade Egypt to counter the growing power of the Ptolemies. After taking most of the area, one of them is on its way back to Ambrakia, Kydonia and Pella for retraining and the other is garrisoning various settlements while one of my generals pushes for the last two Ptolemaic Egyptian holdings with mercs.

Macedon: Unwittingly eliminated by me during the siege of Corinth in 270 - I killed three FMs in the battle and saw their other two settlements (Chalkis and Mytilene) turn Eleutheroi immediately afterwards. Oh well.

KH: Wouldn't stop landing stacks of 3-4 men in the Peloponnesus and attacking me, so I got fed up and took Rhodes, their last settlement some time ago.

AS: Were starting to get out of control early on, so I gave some money to the Parthians, Baktrians and Pontics to help fight them. Now they're little more than a number of disjointed states, although I have a feeling they'll hold on in Anatolia.

Baktria: Declared war on the AS about twenty-five years ago and proceeded to steamroll them. Pressed right ahead and took Babylon and Seleukia from the north before taking Karmana, Persepolis, and Charax. Currently eliminating Seleucid holdouts in Susa and starting a war with the Hayasdan.

Parthia: Were invading AS but were cut off by the fast expansion of Baktria, so they decided to go for the steps instead. Have several fullstacks marching around Chighu and Gava-Haomavarga, so it looks like the Saka's days are numbered.

Saka: Getting owned by the Parthians.

Ptolemaioi: Fought a number of back-and-forth wars with the Seleucids in the Levant, and despite my financial aid to the ailing AS were just starting to make progress when I invaded them. They're about to be kicked out of Egypt entirely.

Hayasdan: Somehow got a ceasefire with the Sauromatae and invaded the AS, signing the Seleucid death warrant. Were just attacked by Baktria, though.

Saba: Completely boring, have sat in idleness for many years now.

Arverni: Destroyed by the Aedui as always, sitting pretty with one settlement.

Aedui: Were doing fine until inexplicably they became a Roman protectorate (why does this always happen?), and now they're fighting standstill wars with the Sweboz.

Romaioi: Have made Aedui a protectorate and decided to expand along the coast. Currently engaging in a number of on-off wars with the Lusotanna and Carthaginians.

Carthage: Almost done subjugating Africa, occasionally fighting Rome along the way.

    Lusotanna: Can't even conquer Iberia.

Sweboz: Fighting the Aedui and the central European superheros with no real results.

    Casse: Idle as always.

Sauromatae: Fighting the Getai and occasionally taking Kallatis and attacking me.

Getai: Thankfully expanding north and west instead of south and attacking me.

Pontos: Fighting Seleucids and seemed to be carving a decent kingdom for themselves in Anatolia until Amaseia was taken, now trying to retake it for the past ten years.

That's some interesting stuff going on in the east, I guess getting involved in neutralising the Ptolies early can lead to an unusual campaign.

Interesting indeed. I might decide launching a campaign in Aigyptos as well, seeing that the Arche Ptolemaion has grown too powerful for my (and their neighbours') liking.

Been busy with the Ptolies, and now the AS, who has learned to conduct naval invasions! Fortunately only against the Eleutheroi.

Arche Seleukeia - at the beginning, it looked as if they were going to lose against the Ptolies, but then, the Yellowbellies ran into some serious trouble (me), and the AS concentrated on their Iranian holdings, almost killing off the Pahlavân. Second most powerful faction, fields reformed tank units.

Ptolemaioi - still aggressive and troublesome, although down to only a few provinces.

Baktria - fighting with mixed success against the Saka.

Pontos - oh dear. Barely alive due to the fact that both they and Makedonia are allied to me, and thus at peace now.

Makedonia - doing reasonably well, having Epeiros as protectorate. Even managed to conquer Kotais (lost it to Hayasdan afterwards). Has six fullstacks standing idly around Korinthos.

Bosphoran Kingdom (formerly KH) - their strong position in Skythia is partly my fault, because, fearing that the inevitable Makedonian conquest of Sparte would destroy the faction, I made their last field general (Eugenios Rhodios) take a magical trip to Chersonesos (which was held by loyalists).

Qart Hadast - strongest faction on the map. Quite scary. Even took Latium at some point during their historically almost correct war with SPQR.

Romani - second Punic War!!! They are mostly on the defensive, fighting for their possessions in Italia and Iberia. Luckily they managed to trigger the March of Time. Managed to get both Gallic factions as protectorates. An invasion force is now heading for Karali.

Lusotannan - dead . Got crushed by two enemies at once, a bit like the Bushmen in South Africa .

Aedui - nothing happenig over here. Astonishingly, they are at peace with all their neighbours.

Arverni - same as Aedui, only weaker.

Swêboz - one of my most steadfast allies; standard expansion. Managed to take Noricum and now their single focus is Mrogbonna. Very powerful as usual.

Getai - strong, but not overly aggressive. Currently they are cooperating with the Swêboz in harrassing Eburonum.

Sauromatae - nothing unusual. Threatened by Saka, Swêboz, Getai, Hayasdan and KH, but still alive.

    Saka - fighting Baktria.

Pahlava - trying to not get killed by the vicious AS monster.

    Casse - yawn.

Epeiros - strong. Intelligence reports that their Illyrian forces are preparing an attack on the Aedui.

Epeiros: Have been consolidating my hold on Egypt while fighting off Rome and raiding Carthage. I just finished a raid by sea of Adrumeto, Atiqa and Carthage itself, burning them to the ground. That's what they get for starting a war with me.

Pontos: Pushing AS out of Anatolia, currently sieging Sardis.

Hayasdan: doing a surprisingly good job of stymieing Baktrian aggression, despite losing Armavir to them briefly

Ptolemaioi: still fighting an endless Syrian war with the AS, but starting to lose badly.

Saba: have since grabbed up all the land around them and seem to be heading for Gerrha.

Baktria: sent me an offer of alliance (which I took) and are currently fighting the Parthians and Hayasdan.

Parthia: went to war when Arachosia rebelled to them ten years ago, but are holding off the Baktrians well so far, only losing Hyrkania.

Saka: would be dead by now if the Parthians hadn't gotten distracted, currently clinging to life.

Sauromatae: I guess a ceasefire with the Hayasdan does wonders for these guys. Have pushed the Getai out of their homeland and are currently blooding them while subjugating the north.

Romani: aside from losing Segestica to me, have been doing well in their war with Carthage and the Lusotannan.

Carthage: were doing well until their three chief settlements were razed and their faction leader and heir killed in the process.

Arverni/Aedui: both Roman protectorates and doing nothing.

Sweboz: making little progress against the central European guys.

Getai: slowly losing ground to the Sauromatae.

Lusotanna: fighting the Romans to a standstill.

Casse: have kicked into gear in the last ten years, taking four other settlements in the Isles and currently sieging the last one with two fullstacks.
