That is kind of a funny little thing there. The Epeirotes, too - they were down to just Ambrakia not terribly long ago. Then they exploded, taking all of Hellas proper from the Makedonians, whom I thought were going to be the next major regional power, then themselves being pushed back by the Seleucids.
