Unable to download 1.1

I apologize for my tech ignorance, but I seem to be unable to download EB 1.1. I was able to DL 1.0, but so far no luck with either way for 1.1. When I try the torrent.exe, my computer downloads a small torrent file, but I am unable to open it. Apparently I need some program to access the file? When I try the ED2k I am redirected to a blank page. I have never had difficulty downloading a mod file before, so what am I doing wrong?

Download and install bittorent, just google it. Then you open the 1.1 download with bittorent and it downloads with that.

EDIT: I am now downloading at a speed of 70-90k/s, not fast at all, but at east I'll be able to play it tomorrow... Thanks for the info!
