    As a matter of fact I agree with you Beefy (I'm actually an Atheist), but I am also sorry for any offence given.

    Back to the topic, I'd say you should be alright in terms of consequences and would echo Kamikazi in terms of what the letter should contain. I'd also recommend that each person writes their own letter rather than writing a collective one and sending xyz copies, although I'm assuming you've already come to that conclusion (it has more impact imo).

    As I've said before its down to you and you obviously think she deserves a chance. Congratulations on being an honourable gentleman!
