    Default Odd 2D Sprite

I was using a unit of Galathraikes (they're a new unit I think) and, when I moved the camera far enough from the unit that the 3D bodies are replaced by 2D sprites, there seemed to be something wrong:

Here you can see that I have moved the camera to such a distance that part of the unit is still 3D and part are 2D. Is this a problem with my graphics card or something?

Why shouldn't they? They are closer to the camera after all.

Sorry, I wrote my explanation very quickly and missed out on saying what the problem actually was.

I meant to say that, though the swap between model and sprite works perfectly, the sprite doesn't look like a soldier but instead is an odd white fuzz with a shadow.

Again, sorry for not making that clear in my initial post.

It's probably rather intimately related to the little detail the unit's diverse sprites ("/eb/data/sprites/dacian/ebsprite_dacian_infantry_galathraikes_[whatever].spr"), well, don't seem to exist. In the internal version either.
"Let us remember that there are multiple theories of Intelligent Design. I and many others around the world are of the strong belief that the universe was created by a Flying Spaghetti Monster. --- Proof of the existence of the FSM, if needed, can be found in the recent uptick of global warming, earthquakes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters. Apparently His Pastaness is to be worshipped in full pirate regalia. The decline in worldwide pirate population over the past 200 years directly corresponds with the increase in global temperature. Here is a graph to illustrate the point."

It seems that the Rodian Slinger sprites are missing too.

I've created a little fix for this problem which adds the missing sprites:
    http://files.filefront.com/EB11+unof.../fileinfo.html
I hope the EB team doesn't mind my sharing this unofficial fix. It should include all of the sprite sheets for the Galathraikes/Milites Ilergetum, Rhodian Slingers (and other slingers using the same model), Lusitanian/Celtiberian Skirmishers, and the Dunaminaca/Dorkim Aloopim. If you find any more missing sprites, I'd be happy to create them as well - it's just a matter of running the models through the RTW sprite utility.
