    Default Army Size over 20 units

    I ran into an army of 22 units in one.
    Obviously its possible but is the ai cheating here?

    Can I have more than 20 units also in one army?

    It is actually two lines of 9 units plus a third row of 2 units.

    Wait, you mean in the battle or on the campaign map?

    I've been meeting armies with 22/23 units for quite a long time... Thought it was quite normal too. What's going on?

    Edit: At least I think it was rows of 10. Why should it be rows of 9?

    Because the box for them is smaller. Count them and see.
