Year Reversal script?

Normally I would search out the forums but seeing as the Org is going at a snail's pace I am posting the query here.

As you know, killing off a character before or at game start via campaign script reports the year of death as that listed in the DS file. I need to have his death recorded as 3 years previous to the start of the campaign. Is this possible? (note: the game needs to have the right date on the loading screen so I cannot set the ds date to 3 years previous and then fast forward it 3 years. It needs to be a reversal. )

I am going to attempt to do some searching on the year jump (and see if it can work in reverse) but post this here in case the searching takes longer than the replying - which is looking likely with the site at its present speed :(

If you wanna go to town and its a significant death you could start the game as "3 years earlier" and then have the fast forward with a "cutscene" of the load screen for 3 years later.

Just a thought - probs wont work.
