I voted that I don't mind which is used, Roma Surrectum is a great mod and there are plenty of others that would be worth playing. I'd always like to play as the ancient Greeks.

Indeed, the Independent Greeks and Allies would be a good choice.

I wouldn't mind playing EB, although I think the AI will be more challenging on the battle field and campaign map with a good MTW2 mod.

Playing the Greek City States does sound tempting...

I will play either, but prefer M2TW due to the vast AI improvements.

May I suggest Roma Surrectum for the greek cities?

as most of the cities have their own version of hoplites, making it better for roleplaying purposes?

Of course Athens would have to have a vote on stuff (maybe allow non-players to vote, given the size of the city/its juries) such as their own armies/leaders, but other cities were not so democratic and could probably get away with 1 player acting as their tyrant

I'd prefer Rome. I can hardly play M2TW on lowest settings on my current PC and I don't plan on upgrading soon (because I'm losing interest in PC gaming

).
