Question Can't install nor uninstall EB

I get the weirdest message when I try to uninstall EB1.0. I uninstalled rtw and deleted the entire folder, tried to run install again and got the same message:

    Any ideas? Please?

Well, you could try uninstalling from the Control Panel?

Does your username/account contain any non alphanumeric or whitespace characters or dashes/underscores?

That's what I tried in the first place. No difference; as soon as it starts installing/uninstalling it gets confused over the folder path and dies.

    Nope.

EDIT: Got it, it was AppLocale. Deleted C:\WINDOWS\AppPatch\AppLoc.tmp and now it works like clockwork. Sorry to have bothered you.

Never heard of this AppLoc thing before. Possibly some others who've had trouble would be helped by this.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

I do NOT answer PM requests for help with EB. Ask in a new help thread in the tech help forum.
