    the icon on my desktop eu1.1 when i click it justs wants to install the game even though i already did. the original wont work what do i do

    If you have installed EB1.1 succesfully, you can create a shortcut. Assuming you have one for Rome-Total War itself, you can just copy and paste that one. Now you will have a RomeTW icon and a copy of it.

    Then edit the copy. Under properties of that shortcut (shortcut), you need to alter the target:
    "Your installation directory for RTW\RomeTW.exe"

    Into: "Your installation directory for RTW\RomeTW.exe -mod:eb -show_err"

    the mod:eb is the switch that ensures EB is started.

    If you installed EB, see the Start menu for shortcuts to start EB. You've downloaded the installer to the desktop, and running that more than once won't let you run the game.
