Smaller UI

I chose a smaller UI in preferences, and I think it looks much better. But how do I change the time scale?

For some reason choosing a smaller UI gets rid of those options. Although I guess just learning all the hot keys would work more.

What options are you speaking of? How does having minimal UI in battles in any way impair your ability to start up the script on the campaign map?

Oh, I meant in battles. I can't do the double or triple speed.

I think maybe he means how to speed up time while in a battle.

If so, then the hotkey you're looking for is ctrl+t.

I see then. Yeah, pressing Ctrl + T will move from normal speed to triple speed and back. I didn't actually know this shortcut until a week ago! I'd suggest you set up a couple hotkeys though so that you get double speed as well because they're not standard.

It doesn't come standard. You'll have to set it up yourself.

How do you do that?

On the main screen, before you load any games, go to options -> control settings -> battle menu, and change the hotkeys for speed control.
