I'm loading the new romani campaign for EB 1.1, and I look at the loading screen and I see this:
"did you remember to activate the show me how script..blahblahblah"
why did you guys put it there, that was scary, made me feel like I was being watched...
I was once alive, but then a girl came and took out my ticker.

If people would actually read the FAQ, use the search function, or pay attention to things in the game before coming on the forum and posting a thread about reforms every two days it wouldn't be necessary.
And I think it was either Bovi or Blacksnail who put it in, but I could be wrong.

Also, as it was a surprise to you, obviously you didn't read the release notes either. Which makes it even more necessary.

actually, it was a joke, and I did read the release(so no it wasn't a surprise); I just found loading screen funny, in that it reinforcesd the image of the "all-knowing" EB team (which is a good thing don't worry). now I figured that it would come, but not so quickly or so often(bear in mind I almost always activate it). and they way it was phrased was incredibally amusing too..I even took a picture..after getting myself off the floor laughing..
anyways, nice idea that loading screen was...

It annoyed me a tad so I removed it.
Maybe for 1.2 we can have "There is no Lorica Segmentata in EB because its out of the time period" & other gems from the FAQ?
maybe those guys should be doing something more useful...

There are apparently scores of people who have the endurance to swat away the advisor a gazillion times without ever listening to what he says. And indeed we have had plenty of people asking if it's really necessary to use the script.

can anyone give me what the line says? i dropped my laptop and now i cant play EB1.1 a few hours before i was to start a new campaign. instead of playing EB for a few hours, i speant that time on the phone with some dell tech guy in india.
"welcome to dell tech support? how may i help you?"
"uh, my laptop screen broke"
"did you try pressing the power button?"
"uh, yes. my screen is broken, its not working."
"ok then, let me transfer you to a superior."
"ok, fine"
"dell tech support, how may i help you?"
