'European Wars' - a mod which takes us in 18th century century. It is an age of 'Empire: Total War' which was announced long time ago. There are 2 developing versions of this mod: for 'Rome: Total War' and 'Medieval 2: Total War'. After 'Empire TW' release, 'European Wars' will be a Realism-Mod for this game.

It's a first units preview of "European Wars" mod on Medieval II Total War. Preview is historical, also very good about graphic side.
I shave made heavy cavalry units (Cuirassiers and Elite Guards). For example: Prussian Cuirassiers, French Mousqetaires, Russian Life Guards and Polish Winged Hussars. As well preview include game's screens and many lots grenadier's hats to show. I want to say especially thanks for team Lordz (NTW2) and "Ogniem i Mieczem's" (With Fire and Sword) team for use parts of units.

the download links for the beta released in 08-08-2008 don't work...they take me to filefront..and there is nothing there..no files no nothing..can somebody put some new download links?

and please can someone tell me, does this mod have it's own modfolder? Does it overwrite anything in vanilla rtw ? cause i dont have enough space on my harddrive to make a new copy of rtw only to play this mod.i already have 3 separate installs of rtw.

European Wars 2 - on MTW2: Kingdoms - will be mod with battles and... campaign.
Release Date: Winter 2008 (Probably before or after Empire TW)

Replace Campaign:

Teutonic -> Great Northern War
Britannia -> Spanish Succesian War
Crusades -> Seven Years War in Europe
Americas -> Seven Years War in America

Campaigns will be started in dates of those wars.

Signatures:

European Wars 3 - a realism mod to Empire: Total War; in that same period.
All units will be historical (probably CA will make some not historical units and wrong uniforms for factions); many historical battles from wars: Great Northern War, Spanish Succesian War, Seven Years War, American War of Independence, French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars.

You're already working on the ETW realism mod? The RTW and M2TW versions still haven't been released yet. I thought I saw the RTW version was done, why hasn't that been released? Are you waiting until you finish the ETW realism mod to release the RTW and M2TW versions. So you can release all three versions at once? I thought you'd release the RTW and M2TW versions first.

What you've previewed looks great, I really can't wait. I hope you'll release at least the RTW version soon, ETW is coming out in just a few days.

This is the last preview before mod's release! Preview of French units is historically the most accurate and the best done preview of 'European Wars' so far. Over 30 different units, including cavalry, infantry and many elite guard units of which France was famous for. There will be Mousqetaires, Gendarmes or awesome grenadiers, additionaly historical character of marshall of France. Variety of hats, uniforms, boots and... haircuts! France in period of Louis' XIV rules and his grandson Louis XV, great power and great looser in 18th age at the same time, had huge significance in the age, this is why this fraction is presented as the last one before the first version of the mod. King Louise Assurbanipal (me) is Units' author. Special Thanks for Lordz (NTW2) and 'With Fire and Sword'. in this preview there are some elements of units from those mods.
