Apparently there are no attractive women in Wales.

I was recently informed that one of my old classmates from college had made it through to to the final round of the Miss Wales pageant. I was a little surprised by this, as I had never thought she was especially pretty, so I decided to scope out the rest of the contestants on their website. The results shocked and, quite frankly, worried me.

There's barely a looker among them! At least one of them is actually cross-eyed, several have clearly lied about their age, and a whole bunch of the rest are just plain ugly. Is this really the best we can do?

It's not that bad BKS. There's half a dozen that are pretty attractive. The driver's license style photos are not a good recipe for nice pictures either.

A few of them are just startling, almost disturbing to look at. Some of them are attractive, some re slightly pretty, and some are slightly homely.

Pretty average lot, I'd say, and if thats the best Wales has to offer, Id hate to see the runner-ups.

Dude, I think you're just unused to how fugly many entrants into beauty contests are. The world of pageants is a strange, nasty little hole, and you don't stick your hand in that hole without getting bitten.

Sure, the women who win the pageants are usually above-average looking, but examine the entire field and see how uneven it really is. This is not a Welsh thing, this is a pageant thing.

The thing with that page is that when you scroll down the page and you think that you've seen a good looking one and you scroll back up to see her, you suddenly cringe. It'd be tragic if one of their friends pointed them in the direction of this thread, and reading how much everyone finds them unattractive.

Also, if they didn't lie about their ages, at least half of them must be chronic smokers.
