i just got word that the new pcgamezone uk mag is out and lo and behold, tosainu and i are in it!

about a month ago a fellow from that mag contacted tosa and asked if he could use our maps in a review of such things. tosa contacted me and asked if it was ok. i said sure, and tosa told the fellow this was fine for both of us.

yesterday i was told in the foyer that the new mag was out and that they had indeed done a review of 11 maps for stw. pretty cool.

now, i just need one of you nice brits to send me a copy! barring that, could someone post a transcript of what they said? i'd love to hear it.

ok, you jokers out there, no editing the transcript

    Good work guys!

We're all really happy that you stuck around for so long K-man. We had a lot of great editor/map-maker guys at .org during the demo period; (guys like 007, and Anjin-san), but you and Tosa have really picked up the mantle and taken map making to new heights + I know with the release of the forthcoming editors there will be a great influx of new talent as well. -Thanks for all you've done!

That's great news Kraellin! I just found an article over at a French game news source, about the latest news on Shogun, (go here: GameKult), and it made a linked referrance to the Map Pack 1.14, and how it's suitable for non-english use! Hehe... I am glad that it's working out for everyone and that you all are getting the credit that is due to you all.

Now, if I can just keep my webhosting service from shutting me off because of the massive numbers of people barn-storming my site for the files!

I'm quite certain that Map Pack 1.15 will be needed by the time we get everyone together to do the multi-lingual versions...
(Let's go for 100 maps even - eh?) Hehe...
That reminds me...must go play with the Demo Map Tools....bye now!
