    No. I have never been at Paraguay. But, indeed it is very close to Rio Grande do Sul. Actually, Paraguay shares the border with brazilian state of Paraná, which is at the same region of Rio Grande do Sul.
    I don't know much of Paraguay though...

    Nope, I don't speak Portuguese.

    But I speak Norwegian and English. I understand Swedish and Danish (off course), and a little French and German (just a little that is).

    I speak Spanish which is similar to Portuguese.

    I suppose I'm from Texas. At least, that's the place I lived in the longest. I was born on the east coast of the U.S. and have lived all around the country, a few years in Sicily, and a few months in Asuncion, Paraguay, for an internship.
