    Default constant CTDs

aveo, my fellow strategists and computer freaks,

i'm playing romani in 1.1, and I have three problems:

    1) i have a CTD very often when the game switches from campaign map to battle map or vice versa.
    2) same goes for loading a savegame, and (after hitting the background-script button) attacking my adversary- bingo, I got a ctd
    3) i have conquered Emporion, and now everytime I attack or sally forth the game ctd when I want to fight on battle map- auto-resolve battles work though (but they are not an option- 1.1 features much better Barbarians! )

All I get are cryptical messages like: "the program has encountered a problem and was shut down. we will inform you when we have found a solution"
(the original is in German, so my translation is a makeshift one)

who can help me? what did I do wrong?

I have a new HP machine, with vista service pack 1, AMD athlon 64X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+, 2,60 GHz, 2GB RAM, 32-bit

Installation: clean rtw, patched to 1.3, and 1.5, then EB 1.1 plus "merchant ship" mini-mod.

thanx a lot for any clues!

While I don't know what that submod does, the crashes when entering the battle should be fixed by the current permanent fixes. The crashes when leaving the battle might be fixed by waiting to click the button to close the battle summary for 10-15 seconds.

Possibly Emporion has a bad tile, like Alexandria had in 1.0.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

I do NOT answer PM requests for help with EB. Ask in a new help thread in the tech help forum.
