    Default Valour One Tournament II

    Any interest in another Clan vs. Clan Valour One competition for MTW/VI v1.02?


    All Units are to be Valour “one”, with Armour and Weapon upgrades allowed. Matches are to be played at 28k per Team (7k per player), with no artillery , all realism settings on, default unit size, with no time limit. There shall be no restrictions on troop types or factions.

    Or how about stright up 10k, High Era,Clan vs. Clan contest?

    Are there enough VI players for any type of competition?

    Maybe a 3v3 Clan Team Championship?

    Multiple Teams from the same Clan ok, they would not have to fight eachother, only opponent Teams.

    Sounds like a good idea Tomi! BHC will sign up. I think 3v3 is better then 4v4, escially since BHC only has 4 members.

    Tomi,

    for a strange case of destiny,Max the Leveller yesterday asked me if it was possible to make a tournament..... i think we can do a tourney 3v3 4 mixed TEAM( no more).
    Actually we can count on 12/15 peoples.
    Need to decide the teams...i dont know how, Heerbann certainly play together...perhaps also Aggony Lion and some "desaparecidos" can join.

    The secrete to success in producing any Team tourney, is to have accountable Team Emissaries. Someone who can act as spokesperson for the Team, that has a solid communication link with the other Team members to be able to gather them for Matches.

    We can start there, I will raise a forum this weekend where the Team Emissaries can post Sign-ups, and ronins can post availability

    Players do not have to be a Clan, but will need some kind of name thet identifies that Team.

    I will post a link here when the forum is ready (have to arrange rules and other stuff first).



    Edit: Although the title of this thread is Valour One, I really think that this should be a 10k, High Era, no art, with no other in game rules (no valour limits).

    Please post your opinions on this, I need to hear from all concerned. Thanks!

    If it going to be a 3 round series for each clan match, how about, Round 1 Early, Round 2 High, and Round 3 Late (if it makes it to round 3)?

    Just started off the Final Round of our Retrofit Multiplayer competition.

    Now will be focusing on getting this going


    Still am not hearing preferences on 10k and no art questions.

    Now that’s innovative George. I like the idea

    But starting positions on the map could make a difference, and swapping those is our usual format.

    “ Each Team plays as Attacker and Defender on the same map (two Battles), with a Tie Breaker (one Battle) on a flat map if needed.”

    And with such a small community of VI players, just sticking to the High Era makes it easer to practice, and reduces confusions.

    From past competitions I have learned that the most common scenario you find the most people playing on line, is probably the best to found a contest on.


    Hope to get this up right away (depends on how my job goes – some days very difficult).

    Knights Of Valour Tournament II Rules v1.0

    1. This competition will be a 4v4, with 10k per player, and no artillery. There are no in-game rules for this contest, with no negotiations restricting troop types, factions, or upgrades.

    2. This is a triple Crown event, with three consecutive Era contests and titles to be won. As each Era title is secured, we will move on to the next, starting over again with all contestant Clan Teams.

    3. Clans can enter multiple Teams, but their members can only play on one Team in any given Round. Same Clan Teams will not have to fight each other, and will share the Championship if surviving to the Final Round.

    4. The Era, Map, Terrain, Weather and Season for each Round will be posted with the Match Battle Assignments. Each Round consisting of the best of 2 out of 3 Battles.

    5. The first Clan name drawn for each Match pairing will be the first posted in the Battle Assignment thread, and will always be the Attacker in the first Round, the Defender second, and the Attacker again in the Tie Breaker if needed.

    6. In this Contest the reference to Attacker and Defender mean nothing more than your starting positions on the Map. Defenders can Attack, and Attackers can Defend. There is to be no distinction, restriction or incentive, placed on either side. The objective is to destroy, capture, or rout your opponent.

    7. Each Clan must post at least once a week in their respective Battle Assignment thread, or they will be considered inactive, their Team will automatically be dropped from the contest, and their Clan banned from future CWC competitions.

    8. Any Battles that result in a dispute are to be automatically refought at the earliest convenience of the Match opponents, as only Battles with a clear winner will be accepted as applicable to the Round Score.

    9. Clans will be held responsible for the behavior of all of their members, with any disrespectful behavior anywhere in our community, costing that Clan their right to participate in this competition.

    10. Knowledge the content and meaning of the above regulations is the responsibility of each individual Clan, ignorance of the Rules will be no excuse.

    Intersting Rules Tomi!


    But I do have a question or two if I may ask it.


    One, How many "Mercs" can be on a team? BHC has 3 members, but just needs 1 Merc so it can do 4v4's.


    Two, Say if we get 4 members, and a 5th person is a merc and a person on the team can not play for some reason, can the merc replace the person on the team for that occsion? Just Curious..
