Default Romani CTD in 258 BC

I am having a problem with my Romani campaign. It crashed in Winter 258 BC when i hit End Turn and it cycled through the AI factions. Trying to reload the autosave causes a new CTD as soon as the loading bar completes and the game map would normally come up.

Sadly I didn't see which faction the AI was on when it crashed, and because I can't open my autosave without a new CTD I can't look for rebelling cities.

    Here is my autosave file:

As an aside, this exact same thing happened in my last 1.1 Romani campaign as well, but then I thought it had to do with that I hadn't installed all the fixes. So, I installed them and started a new Romani campaign and the crash came again. I was surprised because I've never had that kind of CTD with EB before.

If you can't load the game, you should try to start a new campaign. There are several people who have had problems the second time they ran the game, and if you have trouble starting a new campaign as well, you should run a validation to see that you have everything in order.

Anyway, you should revert to an older save as this one fails to load for you.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

I have a save some 20 turns earlier, so I think I may as well start a new campaign and once I approach the critical year (which seems to be around 260) I'll make sure to save and see where I can go from there. Thanks Bovi!
