I'm curious did they had mines to extract metals and such ? Sounds strange but interesting ? How did they forged their stuff ?

They were forged and given by the legendary Moderatos, using his famous ban-hammer... Here's an antique (around -666.13 BC) Ainu depiction found on polyesther tablets in Gotham City:
