Default perhaps this is a rome total war question but...

Since I only play EB I am asking this here.

Sadly to say, I think I lost my disk for RTW! If I buy another copy is this going to work without re-installing the entire game and EB as well?

I would just make sure you buy the same one. If it was the "Gold Edition" buy that one; if the regular one, buy that one. Other than that I can't see how it would matter. As long as what is one the disk is the same.

It is against the policies of this forum to suggest or advice the use of illegal means to obtain a copy of any software. Do not do so again.

    Foot.

I am not talking about illegal versions. You can get a copy anywhere for like $20 or less. I just don't want to have to reinstall the game and possible lose any saves. Next time I will be more clear.

I thought maybe the Key you have to type when you get the game won't match the original copy I had and wouldn't work.

@moriluk: Foot's post wasn't directed at you my friend, but at someone else who suggested rather detestable means for you to get a free copy of RTW. I shall say no more out of respect for myself and respect to the forums. One of the last things I'll ever become is a rat.

As zarasophist suggested earlier, if you're going to buy a replacement game cd make sure it's the same edition as your original one. I myself was forced to buy a replacement Barbarian Invasion cd after I accidently left my original one in a country on the other side of the planet. A replacement cd should work well with the install as long as you follow the previously said advice. I'm not so sure about the cd key as I never played online, but I recommend that when you get a new cd that you use its cd key and not the one belonging to your old one.
