Eh just the totalwar.org forums in general. Threads don't load unless EVERY SINGLE LITTLE THING is loaded unlike normal forums that allow you to view the thread while its loading.

I feel sorry for the poor bastards who are stuck on 56k cause on my Wireless dsl there slow as hell.

Around 2.5 seconds from clicking the thread title to being able to read posts, even on topics Ive never read before.

no, you cant revolt. the ban on weapons is because it became a picture war which got out of hand.
the ban on politics was because there was a violent debate on politics that got the tavern temporarily closed.

so no one has any sensible rules to add?

It sort of reminds me of an old Czech joke:

French, Russian and Czech former anti-nazi guerrilla fighters met some time after the WWII to share their heroic memories.
The French resistance hero boasts: "...and we even blown up a nazi prison and liberated a hundred of our brothers and sisters in resistance, while killing at least two dozens of German guards in the process..."
The Russian "partyzan" scowls: "Thats nothing! We have undermined a bridge and a blown up a whole train of German reinforcements, killing hundreds of nazis and destroying several dozens of their tanks and artillery pieces, while putting the railway out of order for many months at the same time!"

For once I claim innocense (and have some grain of truth on my side). I just came back in here myself, to tell you the truth. I have no idea what shady business I've missed out on while I was gone - that is, the last month or so.

That said, I want some booze. Real booze, the stuff that would kill a wild boar and make the intestines of a wild grizzly melt up warm inside. You know... GROG! Oh, and I dun no pay fer nuthin'.
