Singapore just lost to Uzbekistan 8-3 on aggregate in the third round of World Cup qualifiers. Completely outclassed, outplayed, outwitted, and this is the team of which our national football association was saying 'World Cup 2010!' I can't believe how completely out of touch with reality some people are.

It may be because Seltik is a more natural pronunciation than Keltik, actually I always pronounce Celtic as Seltik in my mind.

Me too (except for the part about the Dutch being 2nd favorite) - but in this case, NED has to win against FRA, ROM win against ITA, then a NED-ROM draw; or NED wins against FRA, ROM ties with ITA, ROM win against NED.

I'd actually prefer a Romania - Russia Final (we already destroyed Russia 3-0 in the friendlies).

EDIT: But looking at the result at half time, I don' think Russia will make it out of the group stage.

Look, I've no problem with teams playing defensively, and I'm not stupid enough to think everyone should play gung-ho. If a team doesn't have the qualities to go on regular attacks, trying to counter attack is a good choice. But when 90% of your time with the ball goes to passing it back and forth between your centre backs... geez.

Spain vs Netherlands would be a fine game to watch, yeah. We'll just have to see to it that Spain only finish at 2:nd place, and the Neds will win group C.
