EB 1.1 wont start up

Hi,

I just downloaded and installed EB 1.1. Everything went well.
When I started EB up, it didn't start EB up, it started vanilla instead. Does anybody know why?

By any chance, didn't you start 'EB' from the pop up window which appears if you put your CD in your CD/DVD drive?

In any case, assuming you have the Trivial Script (an add on) installed as well; you should use one of the three shortcuts it creates for you. These are called Play Singleplayer, Play Multiplayer and Configuration.

Alternatively you can create a shortcut to EB by creating a shortcut to your RomeTW.exe first. Then, if you've got that shortcut; you have to right click it and select Properties. A window will appear with lot's of info fields; but we're only concerned with this one: Target. At the very end of the line you should enter the following additional 'code' :

 -mod:eb -show_err

The "-show_err" is not neccesary, but if an error occurs you should get a proper error message. (At least if the RTW exe recognises the error.)
