Introduction to IPT and ITS?

I did that! Then I continued IPT. Lots of fun...kind of.

Sounds extremely cool. We didn't have such cool courses on my school.

Real men do Software Design and Development...

I did SDD and completed it one year in advance. We didn't design games per-se. We were allowed to create whatever program we wanted to as a team. Our group made 3D Tic-Tac-Toe and I did the AI. So many wasted hours on massive algorithms...

If it's just messing around on Game Maker it isn't really Game Design...

Say what you want, but it can be usefull if you need something simple fast. Though if you're using the build in code, together with dll's and stuff, it can do more than just simple stuff. Though of course it will never be as strong as using a real language, it can be usefull. Especially for starters.

*Goes into utter state of dispair and suspects that no school in britain offers such a course and never will*

Well at least modding games at an early age helps...
