This has been my understanding as well...The March of Time triggers events for other factions, and not the Romani.Originally Posted by Philipvs Vallindervs Calicvla

While it isn't the March of Time that triggers it, don't they get upgraded bodyguards with the Augustan Reform?Originally Posted by Tarkus

Heirs to Lysimachos - an EB 1.1 Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR with semi-historical houserules (now ceased)
Philetairos' Gift - a second EB 1.1 Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR
That was the intention, probably, but there is no way to couple bodyguard reforms to scripted reforms. Hence the Romans don't get upgraded bodyguards. Come to think of it, there was a Equites Singulares unit made, but it was only available in custom battles. Not sure if it is still included.Originally Posted by QuintusSertorius

Looking for a good read? Visit the Library!
Why not tie it to the March of Time as well? It would be slightly ahistorical in Polybian times, but not so extremely ahistorical in Marian or Augustan times. The human player could even voluntarily wait to upgrade his cities in Italia to keep things more historically accurate.
Aren't the Ala Imperatoria upgraded bodyguards for the Romani?

I think it is Eqvites Singvlares (Picked General's Guard Cavalry)Originally Posted by Hax

They dont have general_unit_upgrade attribute so they are not upgraded bodyguards!!!!
Does that mean we cant get them after Augustan reform ?????

They make it a desert, and call it peace.
