    I play KH most of the time and u get family members from everywhere there is greek culture including Syracuse.

    This is a brief explanation that I gave in a different thread on how to use the method that I suggest to give KH ownership of Syracuse at the begining of the game. In this post I was trying to explain how to remove a FM from Athens, and replace him with the FM/garrison from another faction. This is similar in principle to removing the rebels in Syracuse, and replacing them with an existing KH FM/garrison.

    "You don't have to switch ownership at all, just remove the FM/ army from Athens (or wherever) and put an army from whatever faction you want into Athens. The result is that Athens will immediately become whatever faction occupies it's city. I swear, I have done exactly that with good results. Use show_cursorstat to find the coordinates of Athens, and then search the desc_strat file for those coordinates using the edit function, and that will show you the FM/garrison that is in those coordinates. Move that FM/garrison to another location (using new coordinates found with show_cursorstat) and then place whoever you want into the Athens coordinates. Viola, Athens belongs to a different faction, and KH's army is on Syracuse (or wherever you choose to put it). The coordinates will look something like this (X34, Y45) and that is how everything is placed on the map at the beginning of the game. Editing the coordinates next to the FM's in the desc_strat file moves their initial location. I am telling you that in my experience this is the easiest method of giving any faction control over any city at the begining of the game. Only one file has to be edited, but back up the original, and don't get greedy (make one modification at a time) as any mistake could cause a CTD."

    KH faction have no Syracusan ethnicity (or at least it was the case in 1.0 when I played for them) KH has only following ethnicities rhodian, kres (Crete), athenian, spartan, ionian and (forgot the name) ethnicity for the greek around Pontos Euxionos.

    However there is Syracusan ethnicity for Epirotes!

    He can just rename the bosphoran trait for syracusan and mod the description.
