hi jamminj, and welcome to the Org!

You'll likely get a better response if you post in the EB Bugs & Technical Help Forum. It may also help to use words rather than numbers, and break up your sentences as it's a bit hard to follow what you're saying.

Heh, as long as you try and put effort into your post, it will be respected - even if it isn't perfect English. There are plenty of users here that have English as their second or third language, maybe even more.

Also, welcome to the org. Hope you have a pleasant time here.

hi.... no luck on resolving my ctd's with eb v1.1. someone has taken the time to try to help (bovi) which is most appreciated.. but no luck as of yet.. ive completely un-installed everything and re-loaded, and loaded all fixes correctly.. wot would help, and i guess iam not alone on this, is i am not very sharpe at computer stuff and i find it hard to try to follow some of the instructions, when they do not use the same words as my computer does.. it would make things alot simpler and easy to follow if instructions and words matched.... eg- unpack files into rome directory.. my computer does not use the word unpack, which i guess lots of computers dont, so i scratched my head for 20minutes trying to work that simple instruction out... anyway, i think all people involved in this project have done a remarkable job and deserve alot of applause as the game is truely amazing and a benchmark for all future total war games.

Sorry to hear the problems weren't resolved. And yes, computer terms can be very, very abstract. Unpack, for example, usually means opening up a ZIP file and moving them to a specific folder on your computer.

Just never enter the world of PERL, and computers will at least stay somewhat sane to you, if not kind.
