    Default reversing depression

Any way to reverse depression, because my faction leader and great army general has become a meloncholic, restless sleeper.
He does have the pessimistic trait but you would think after all his great victories he would become better but he just gets worse.

    Default AW: reversing depression

In general, >>pessimistic<< and >>lazy<< characters make poor commanders. You can try to "bread" them by sending them on every campaign, but you will get better results with >>vital<< and >>optimistic<< characters.

I have included it into my roleplaying, saying that characters who have both traits in the "green" are very fond of soldiering and volunteer when ever possible ("Mariuses"), characters that have one of them "red" and one "green" join the army when required but are also happy with administrative duties ("Octavians"), and characters that have both "red" try to avoid anything that has to do with the military ("Ciceros").

Disclaimer: my posts are to be considered my private opinion and not offical statements by the EB Team

Wonderland is our resident pessimist, and therefore would probably make a poor commander.

But then, both that and the opinion of pessimistic people being poor commanders in probability - is a pessimistic theory in itself - apt to leave it's author open to suspicion of having a pessimistic nature, and therefore being a probably poor commander.

How about swopping a retinue for one of those really nice, mistress type ladies, and a pet Tiger, that might jolly him along - it would me!

So then that makes me a good commander?

    Yes. Yes it does.

did you know that the phrase was first used in the murder of a polish gang member in Chicago USA in 1922? the classic technique is:

    1-putting in car
2-go with him to quite alley
3-beat him up with brass knukles and nightsticks
4-shoot the man execution style with a .22 cal silenced weapon.

but yeah, just ive with your man's depression-he'll die one day you know.

Well, actually I was referring to those small video games like, "Catz" and "Dogz", because I thought it was something like playing the Sims to take my general for a nice, luxurious stroll through the Alps in order to calm his nerves.

So what do you think the EB Team were alluding to - simulation games or the Mafia?
