Thread: EB performance

    Default EB performance

Just out of interest, I was wondering what kind of computer hardware specs the average EB user was playing on. If you'd like to post Processor, Graphics, RAM, operating system and then some indication of the kind of performance you get. That would be helpful. Cheers

    I'm running:

    AMD xp 4800 dual core
    2 gigs ram
    Nvidia 7800 gtx graphics
    win xp 64bit op system

and I have decent performance. I run in 1920x 1200 graphics mode with all the settings turned up. I've had armies as large as 10k per side with out too much issue.

That's good to hear. I've got:

    Core 2 Duo 1.86ghz (E6300)
    8800GTS 640mb
    3GB RAM

    XP Home 32bit

Plus my monitor only goes up to 1280x1024 anyway, but at that resolution the images on units cards, and buildings on production que etc. go blurry. Fine at 1024x768 though.

    Core 2 Duo 6750
    8Gb Ram
    Radeon 3850
    Vista 64 Home Premium

Play at 1280*1024 with no slowdowns on any battles. Campaign turns take 20-30 seconds with follow AI turned on - any faster and I'd probably miss seeing them move.

    2gb DDR2 RAM
    Geforce 8600GT 512mb
    windows XP SP2 home edition

i play it on almost high settings, minus the grass, and turns used to take 30 seconds, and loading a minute, but i edited the EBBS and now its about double that.

And I thought I was the only one. Now I have 1 GB RAM... damn. I do read during turns you know (2.30 min).
