    Default Science forum?

TosaInu and others, I humbly suggest a science forum in which we could ask different science related questions. I have some questions which I want some opinions on, but I do not think the frontroom is quite on topic for my question.

    Opinions?

Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.

A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?

Interesting thought; but I doubt that there's enough support for it. If the frontroom seems incorrect; maybe you should ask the question in the backroom instead.

You're most likely to get them answered in the Backroom.

I think the established parameters of the Frontroom allow for scientific discussion.

    Cool Re: Science forum?

But the Backroom allows for Nukes.

And from memory (as poor as it is) Ser Clegane is of the chemical persuasion, while Banquo's Ghost has some sort of biology background or is that just anti-biology.

Problem is you will get creationism being pushed into the science content of any forum.

When science and religion wish to baff it out in a cage fight, the Backroom t'would be the place. As far as science itself goes, be it astronomy, mathematics, physics et al, I don't see any problem.

If it's just pure science you want to talk about, then the Frontoom is golden.

Well astronomy should be in the Frontroom as it is the study of heavenly bodies.

I definitely think there should be a Science forum.

A note from the survey-a-holic (this month anyway)... Outside of history, it seems that chemistry and biology are the two shoe-ins for the most common educational majors on the Org. However, it could just be that this is true of people who answer surveys!
