What is Hotseat ?

I have a noob question to ask...
I just bought M2TW and I took the online survey. It asked me about "hotseat" thing. What is hotseat and how does it work ?

A Hotseat game is the equivalent of playing a M2TW campaign multiplayer.

Everything is exactly the same as in sp, except when you end your turn it doesn't cycle through the AI turns and then come sto your next turn, but rather just moves on to the next human controlled faction. You send that savefile along to the next player who plays their faction, then passes it along to the next and so forth. Once everyone has had their turn, the next cycle of turns begins.

It is time consuming but it's also lot of fun.

it is the only way of having your @$$ handed to you in TW games... Beats fighting poor dumb AI...
