    Default Roman Superalliance

I was playing as Julii when i was asked to conquer patavium by the senate. I attacked the Gauls and the Senate broke their allaince with me,then brutii and scipii broke their alliance with the senate. Also whilst playing as Brutii they turned neutral against me so i had to make an alliance with them again. Is this supposed to happen? I only conquered half of greece.

Not supposed to happen. Are you playing the most recent patch version of Rome: Total War (version 1.5, I believe) ? I've heard of the early outlaw happening before, but I thought it was only in earlier versions of the game.

I've had in happen before, though they usually agree to a renewal of alliance. I'm thinking it's probably a bug of some sort.

Strange. I find the situation strange. But then, I don't play a Roman faction that much often, so I don't know... Nevertheless, if this thing happened to one of my games, I'd welcome it as an interesting development. If it's indeed a bug, I wouldn't mind it--I don't think it does any harm, but I look at it as a new twist of fun. Hawooh.

Good to see that you're still alive and kicking wumpus!

As a serial winner at RTW I would look at such scenario as the same as wumpus--it would be a way to make the plot more interesting.

Yes, GSC, my very noble friend, I'm still here. But you know, hadn't much opportunity to be on the Net lately--I was too busy with a few other things.
By the way, how's your EB gameplay over there--did you conquer Asia Minor as fast as you once did with vanilla RTW? Hawooh!
