Anyway, I live in the Isle of eels, England. One of the last places in England to resist the Norman invasion.

So far most of us are brits, but don't some countries have their own forums(in their own language)?

PD: Ramon Llull on your signature! I love it, however I prefer Ausiàs March.

just for my linguistical curiosity, is this sentence related to the shape of Catalogna as it is in the banner by jaume, (a "triangle" shape, and the word "fotre" means "f...ck" in catalan like "fottere" in neapolitan? But in neapolitan "fottere" also means "to steal"

so, if i have well guessed the phrase (but i doubt it) it means "someone will f...ck it" (related to the triangled shape of Cat.) or "someone have to steal it"? Sorry if i could have guessed something completely different...

"Fotre" is equal to f***k (the "steal" meaning exists in catalonian too, but the main meaning is "f**k") and came like your neapolitan werd from the latin verb "futuere".
My phrase means the first of your options: someone (the catalonian independentists) are still spanish, and be f**ked up for that.

Jaume, my firm is one of my favourite's quotations of Raimundus Lulius (Ramon Llull), from the Liber Proverbiae. Ausias March kicks asses, but in philosophy Llull rulez! And he was born in my city, and received the gift of Illumination in a sacred mountain near the land of my forefathers.

Not exactly. Literally, it means "So, at the moment, they will have to f**k themselves".

You're right. Majorca is a land of successful writers (Robert Graves came there in their last days of life).

Yes that is exactly what I meant, this place sucks way to hard and my friends all live at least a 30 min drive away from me and well I´m 17 so I´m not even allowed to drive and there´s literly nothing to do in my village. I should be very grateful for the one liquor store here.

You're right. Majorca is a land of successful writers (Robert Graves came there in their last days of life).

Not in his last days, the first time he came to Deia was in the Thirties. And after the 2WW he fixed his residence there for the rest of his life. Great writer he was, and an odd fellow, as I was told for some friends of him. When I go to Deia I usually go to the graveyard, by the church, to pay a visit to his tomb.

But, Jaume, don't despair, the day will come when we could cry again with one voice: DESPERTA, FERRO!!!
