hi everyone,
here is the situation:i m playing the romani campaign and i 've just won a battle in sicily against carhage,the next turn the message for the general was "imperator, he has to conquer the region and return to Rome to gain this title".
What region does it mean?the whole of sicily or the region that the carthies own? (the battle took place near messana ,wich is mine lilibeo is under Carthage)
does anyone met this before?

Imperator -> Does some slaughtering of enemies; brings an awful lot of loot with him -> Senate 'cheers' for him -> He goes to Rome -> Gets a nice new nickname or triumph.

Pretty much a sequence of events every Consul tried to replicate.

Indeed the battle was something like 3000 carthies and 900 of me...Do you mean the only thing i have to do is get back to Rome?

Yeah first conquer that region then bring him back to Roma and get his title would be what I'd do...

You mean Lilibeo,thats the only region they hold in Sicily...

Wait until a message says he needs to return to Roma to celebrate a triumph, then you'll get a trait giving +3 Influence. You need that same general to conquer Lilibeo to get it, though.
