    Default Blood flood

I know ancient battles were blood baths but seriously, not shoulder hight blood floods

I have no idea how this happened. It was just a normal evening battle close to a bridge and occasionally everything completely distorted.

Has anybody else had a similar occurance or some other kind of graphic distortion.

The only time have had major distortian on RTW was using a blood mod.

But sometimes I get a line/block I think during dust clouds/or river battle, they are basically transparent, rare, and only last a second, they seem to rise up from the floor and disapear after reaching the top of the screen.

Was your GPU overheating perphaps? Is it overclocked?

Ok are we talking about a technical bug or a mod? Because if this has to look like blood, then it is a pretty poor job by whoever made it, no offence of course.

No its not a mod. Its was a technical problem that I have never had before and that I hope never happens again.

I rarely get some problems too, like the campaign map seems to flood at a certain place or the screen blackening.

I'm just going to guess something's happening with your graphics card. Might be overheating.

Might be the graphics card but it usually doesn't happen and I had only been playing for about 30 minutes.

By the way where do you see what kind of graphics card you have because I use my Dad's laptop and he can't remember what kind is in it. I looked in control panel and found this but 'm not sure that this is the right thing:

I think that may be it. Your computer's fairly outdated. Your graphics card is pretty old and crappy. It might not be able to handle the graphics, which is why you're seeing such graphical distortions.

I call it a really bad omen. If I were a soldier in your army, I'd never follow you onto the field again after that.

Africanvs-Well those casse soldiers were really slaughtered by the Romans. They were just a vanguard holding the bridge while I prepared my other soldiers to attack. Even though those guys were slaughtered the rest of my army fell on the Roman soon after and crushed them with minor losses. I'll take it as a good omen next time. It was a message from the gods telling me that the enemy would lose floods of blood.

Korlon-If its my graphics card why doesn't it happen every time I play EB. It has only happened once and I've been playing EB for about half a year.

Could've been a random occurrence. Just saying that it may be possible. I've heard stories of people getting random pink and white blotches and things like yours if something overheats.

If it hasn't happened again... it's probably nothing to be worried about... maybe.

"gods" is plural. Judaism is monotheistic. One god...only "God" not "the gods" would be pissed off. I believe that was Hax's point :).

He must be one of the Jews that adored some other deities that are mentioned in the Bible. LOL.
The jews haven't been monotheistic from the beginning.

Technically, the Old Testament only instructs the Jews "to worship no other gods but Me"; He doesn't (necessarily) deny the existence of other gods...

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. H. L. Mencken

Actually, there were two of them. One turned dust into blood and the other is probably the one that Ibrahim describes. I haven't tried either of them, but I imagine they are both unconvincing.
