EB Installed but loads RTW

Hi there. I installed RTW, patched it up to 1.5 and then installed EB 1.1, but when I click the "EB Play.exe" shortcut in the RTW dir it loads up RTW and not EB. Here's my exact actions:

- Installed RTW (yes I am on Vista, no I did not install on the C:\ in Program Files)
- Downloaded patches and then installed 1.3 and finally 1.5
- Placed EB1.1 install file from thumbdrive to harddrive and then opened that. It took a long time, like 10 minutes at least before the setup window popped up.
- The installation went fine. I pointed the setup to install EB in the same RTW folder.
- Try to open EB via EB Play.exe but the vanilla RTW game opens instead.

I tried uninstalling EB once and reinstalling, same problem.

You've installed EB to the wrong place. You need to make sure that it is installed in the same folder that you find RomeTW.exe. You will need to uninstall and reinstall and follow this step very closely.

You did not install Trivial Script i presume?

There is a bug in installer. If you dont install Trivial Script you get shortcut that is missing "-mod:eb" option. Just add it to the end of eb shortcut ( drop quotes ).

You've installed in the correct place. However, in addition to what LordBula says you need to do, you should move the files in EB\Data\sounds\eb mod music to EB\Data\sounds\music.

I added the line to the shortcut and moved the music file and it worked!
