Another respawn problem!!

Okay!....here we go again!!

Situation is this:-

I'm the Turks.Conquered all of the south, Egypt and the Almohads. Everthing as it should be with taxes, loyalty etc. keeping the population sweet. My ships in all the corresponding shipping lanes to my conquered provinces and no other faction sharing. Suddenely............WHAM! a respawn in the Sinai!!......Thousands of em! but wait a mo!...Hey that flags not Egyptian....it ain't even the Almohads!!...........it's...it's.......the bloody Spanish??????????
Now come on there are no Spanish boats in the area! I can't see if they came by submarine and its too cloudy to see if they parachuted in........can anyone help!

Spain might of owned it long ago. Thats how the respawn works they can respawn in any land they once owned. Any. At anyrate thier is nothing you can do about it. Thats the way they programed it. No matter what you do if you kill off a faction it is going to come back.

I accept that, but this province was never ever held by the Spanish. The Egptians had it from the off and lost it to me. I've held it since. Hence my request!

I`ve seen this also in my campaign. I actually had loyalist rebellions of my faction in provinces I never held (I was HRE, elmos took scotland from french and then HRE rebel in scotland).

never experienced such a thing, respawn occurs only in provinces previously held by the respective faction.

How do you know they didnt hold it? It could of been a simple one turn thing right in the begging of the game. Unless you could see what was going on at the providence since day one, You cant honestly say what happened there and who held it.

I was surprised as it has never happened to me before. They were thoroughly beaten. A few finished up in the fort......the others.........well that's anybody's guess as there was no way the could get back to Spain. I just thought I should have checked the "Buy Mercenaries" tab!
