Ah, so this is how it works... But how do the battles work out?? AI is not cappable of winning a stack of peasants in auto-resolve! Imagine against the hordes of a deranged, bloodthirsty and completely paranoid blitzmaster?!

In hotseats you can fight only those battles where you are attacker. In order to do that you must change the '1' to '0' in the next line..

from hotseat_autoresolve_battles = 1 to this hotseat_autoresolve_battles = 0

And hotseats are played by mail.. you save after your turn and send the save file to your opponent..
It's better to zip them before you send..

Hotseats are fun.. I played 1 against ATPG and lost.. but it was fun none the less

Now all that remains is Denmark's small invasion force to destroy.

Priority: Now that Russia and Lithuania have been dealt with, a quick northern thrust should destroy half of Denmark. Although they lay seige to multiple northern provinces, none of them are crucial. 3 armies en route to dispose of them.

Spies have detected 1.5 English stacks and a Welsh stack seiging the Norwegian capital.

Because these idiots are dangerous to both myself and Chaotix27, I've offered to assist Norway in deflecting them. A temporary alliance has been called for and agreed to by both parties, to destroy these invaders who are dangerous to both Norway and Ireland.

In roughly 2-3 turns, Ireland's forces will arrive to obliterate the English. Norway assures us that they can take care of the Welsh on their own.

Took a risk and allowed Denmark to invade my northern front. Now I suspect their territories in that region are weak, and their troops are moving within range of my own forces.

Lithuania will lose two more provinces next turn, and 3 stacks of troops are moving to wipe out the Danish incursion. We have artillery, so walls mean nothing to us.

Our navy is growing in power. Hopefully the Danes' strategy is as straightforward as I suspect. I admit, I cannot afford any surprises here.

Russia's incursion was obliterated, territory retaken, Danish castle under threat, with reinforcements behind them.

huge financial windfall this turn from sacking Riga... armor shops purchased, whole new navy, and many, many defense 20 spearmen.

EDIT: Mongols made a nice peace treaty with me and our relations are good. Russia is fleeing, and Poland is our loyal ally.
