I see it both ways as well.
I wonder if the correlation on how to see one or the other (without the hidden text trick Galain suggested) is accurate. Trying to concentrate on the angular rotation and it's velocity (change of position versus time) is a left brained activity, so focusing on the way she's spinning will usually make her go counter-clockwise. Reading the text or letting your mind drift about the aesthetic features of the dancer's silhouted figure are right-brain features and causes her to spin clockwise.
And for those of us with really powerful minds, we can force her to stop spinnging altogether!!!Just call me the amazing Kreskin...
