Default A besieging army of 1...

It's not the most important bug in the world, but I get a CTD if I try to besiege a city with a single soldier. This happens with the script on or off. I'm not really bothered as I can besiege with other armies, so maybe this is just a case of an officer not wanting to get his hands dirty by building siege equipment...

Anyway, I thought that might be interesting to know. Has anyone else noticed that, or am I the only bastard who sends single soldiers on suicide missions deep into enemy territory to try and capture a Lusotanaan capital?

Autocalcing it doesn't crash does it? That should kill the guy you want to kill...

You may be right about seige equiptment. Though, I think if there are too few guys to hold the equiptment, they'll just be standing behind it and not be able to pick it up.

Autocalcing was never an option, as the CTD would occur as soon as I right-clicked on the settlement. I ended up bringing that guy back, and then the next turn he got attacked by half a stack. Somehow he magically became 2 people to gain an extra officer, but I still withdrew. Now they're hiding somewhere in the middle of Iberia, and I can't for the life of me find them!

It's funny how things like that happen when you try to be stupid on purpose...

I thought you might be trying to siege Rhodos at the start of the game. And hope the old geezer inside dies. If that works, THAT would be a big feet by a single captain.

I think the isssue might be related to the impossibility of a single man to build siege equipment.

I think d'arthez is right about that. Probably the game calculates the amount of turns needed to build something and ends up at a huge number that the game can't handle, such as >255.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.
