Although I think it should be legal for everyone, this is gigantic leap in the right direction in proving marijuana is a plant that has many medical benefits and can ease people's suffering.

I have felt its pain relieving properties for myself, i had a friend whose mother suffered from ms she started smoking weed about 7 years ago, she's a middle aged, middle class mum of two, she's not doing it for the 'high' she's doing it as it gives her a bit of pain relief, im pretty sure the pain relieving properties are already proven ?

Think in lawterms, calling it medical isn't very smart. It takes years before effects are proven and a medicine can be released. State of michigan is on the floor belly-up for people wanting to sue the crap out of them.

Other states have done this for 30 years +. I haven't heard of many lawsuits regarding the issue.
