flaming from swords

as the name suggests, I would like to know if it practicable to cause poeple to go on fire when hit with a melee weapon, any and all melee weapons to be sure. its for an effect I seek to ad for comic purposes. If it is indeed possible, I would like to know how to do it, and what script should I put in which file.

Not sure but these are files you might have to look into -

descr_burnning_men
descr_burrning_men_effect
descr_burnning_men_effect_final
descr_burnning_men_effect_new
descr_actions

These are what you probably have to look at if it's possibil.

well which part? I looked into them-none make mention of devices used to set them on fire, just how they are made (appearence wise). but thanks

Well you're probably going to a have to make up you're own program. And for that you'll have to talk to some of those big-shot modders.
