RTR patches

When I download patches to bring RTR up to version 1.5 so I can get EB, where do I put the patches? and how do I know what lever of RTR I have already? Cheers.

And patches go wherever you've put Rome - Total War. Quite logical don't you think?

What I meen is that, when I choose where to download the patches to, where to I choose? Is it programme files- RTW? Ie do I jsut dump the whole patch file in the start of the RTW folder or does it need to go somewhere specific?

And I only mentioned RTW because it is a step to getting EB (I have no desire to revisit the burning pigs, mutant beserkers, wardogs, mummy-returns infantry from egypt etc lol)

RTR is a good mod, I played it for months before finally getting EB to work on my system.
