RTR patches

When I download patches to bring RTR up to version 1.5 so I can get EB, where do I put the patches? and how do I know what lever of RTR I have already? Cheers.

What I meen is that, when I choose where to download the patches to, where to I choose? Is it programme files- RTW? Ie do I jsut dump the whole patch file in the start of the RTW folder or does it need to go somewhere specific?

And I only mentioned RTW because it is a step to getting EB (I have no desire to revisit the burning pigs, mutant beserkers, wardogs, mummy-returns infantry from egypt etc lol)

It was only a joke.

RTR is a good mod, I played it for months before finally getting EB to work on my system.

Yeah, okay, but the whole RTR - EB situation is a bit hectic, so we prefer to be a bit careful about that.

Well, it's been a bit cooler lately, but about a year or two ago the forums were almost a RTR vs EB contest.

RTR is the reason why I don't ask stupid questions about EB; I already knew how to deal with slower battles and crap like that.

Its ok no offence was taken. I too started on RTR, with a campaign on H/M and parthia I took everything to the east of byzantion and all the way to Carthage in the south, however parthia in EB is much much harder. EB is far better that RTR in the east, in RTR nothing really happens east of the Caspian at all, now we have a very entertaining AS-Baktria-Pahlava-Saka picnic in the east its great fun :)
