Bohemia is good.
A ha ha! Rainbows and unicorns! Rainbows and unicorns!
Well you know I've always had a soft spot for the Bohemians, even if I never was able to survive as them very long.Still, I think bamff may have a point -- I don't know that I've ever seen a Swedish AAR, so that wouldn't be a bad choice. I've course, I've not seen many Irish campaigns discussed (at least in the main "Imperial" campaign, anyway), so they would be fun to read about as well.
Ah, heck with it. I say play as the Bohemians.![]()

So, it seems that Sweden and Bohemia are drawing at the moment in the poll (counting the fact that Drunk-Monk suggested them, but can't vote, but it still counts). I won't be blitzing, it isn't really my style - plus I absolutely love the cold wars where everyone has 2,000 odd troops either side of the border.![]()
I believe in a society without rules, laws and regulations. A society where there are only ideas - strict ideas that must be followed to by the letter - and any failure to comply is punishable by death. This would be no dictatorship or police state, no one would be living in terror. It would merely be a 'reassessment of one's preferences,' people living in 'not-so-optimistic security.' So, welcome, those who are 'longing to be blindly obedient and loyal, unbeknownst to them.'
I'd like to read about Sweden, please.![]()

Kaidonni - Does this mean you've finally got MTW to work on your PC?

Yep, all thanks to Peter_de123 for discovering that NTW worked on modern computers - because of two of the campaign map buttons. Just needed to copy the two files over the originals, XL and Tyberius don't overwrite them. No CTD issues anymore, and I can run the campaign map on higher resolutions. Unfortunately, 1280x1024 is just too high a resolution for my eyes, and I'm limiting the campaign map to 1024x768. The battlemap will be 1280x1024, though - and I have to use both a modified GroupFormations.txt and the radar map in battles because I haven't been able to fix the mouse-over problems. I refuse not to fight battles, and I don't really see why I can't improvise. It might take some getting used to, but it still works. Any screenies of battles will likely be of the replays (I'm always too busy to take screenshots during battles themselves - someone could get an arrow in their eye!).
I am curious if GroupFormations.txt can be modified so that only one unit is required for a 'formation' (i.e. rank depth change, I modified the file).
