Issues with Install

Alright there?

I’m having some really annoying trouble with RTW and I’m hoping one of you technically savvy people could help me out.

I just uninstalled RTW and Eb 1.0 so I could install EB1.1 and play that. However, after re-installing RTW (a copy from 2004 with the 3 discs) I have found that it simply wont load up onto my computer when I attempt to play it.

I’m using Vista and I’m wondering whether it’s a Direct X problem or something like that, do I need to re-install the old 9.0b version of it? Have any of you encountered problems like this before?

Your assistance will be greatly appreciated!

You're saying you can't run RTW, even without EB installed? But you could prior to uninstalling and reinstalling?

Have you installed Nero Burning ROM? If so, try to uninstall that. There are also a number of other things you should try in the validation sticky.

Thanks for your help Bovi. I actually managed to work it out from problems I had when I tried to install RTW and EB last year!

For some reason my computer won’t allow me to play RTW out of the folder that it automatically saves it to (Activision I believe), so I have to create a new folder and save it to there instead, which then allows it to work.
